Now that Barack Obama appears on the verge of becoming the Democratic nominee, the buzz about a so-called "dream team" is starting up again.
No.
No. Please no
If he accepted her as VP, she would undermine and sabatage him the whole time. Hilary would kick Obama out of the West wing.
Let's not forget what the Clintons did to undermine the FBI and the Secret Service and practically eliminated background checks on their drug-induced staff. Either that, or he'd find himself with no security in the White House, and suddenly there'd be this plane crash...or a suicide... or one of those even stranger execution-style 'suicides' ...or the even stranger suicides where somehow one manages to suffocate oneself with a plastic bag...or shoot oneself 5 times...
...and then there's the adulterer Bill we'd have to let back in...and the poor women who will have to give in to him or be threatened or forced to quit or get audited by the IRS to shut them up... and the woman, namely Hilary, who KNEW what he was doing and looked the other way... because of her lack of respect for herself and other women...
...and the suspicious deals that occur when one is seeking a second term... all those campaign fund fraud deals that never seem to put them in jail because Clinton appointed the judge or the FEC.
And then there's always those suspicious quid pro quo pardons in the end... and they they rent out rooms like the White House is a Motel 6.... and then the trailer they hitch to the White House when they leave...
No WONDER they consider him an elitist... when they act like white trailer park trash and disrespect the American People as well as the White House. It has nothing to do with money, as they have way more than him. It is about morals and values and honor and integrity and charactor...
Obama can't choose Hilliary Clinton for VP, because his message "change you can believe in" would be under cut do to the fact she is apart of the dying washington politics that he vows to replace. Therefore, the only move Obama has is reaching across party lines for a republican to solidify the kind of change we can truly believe in. "For a kingdom divided can not stand".
I don't think he'll reach across party lines.....but perhaps will pick a very moderate/centrist Democrat.
It would be clossal mistake for Senator Obama to choose Senator Clinton as his running mate. Dream tickets do not work. Remember Nixon and Henry Cabot Lodge, Mondale and Farerro, Dukakis and Lloyd Benson, Gore and Lieberman, Kerry and Edwards each of these vice presidential candidates were expected to appeal to a specific voting constituency but they failed to deliver and their party lossed the election. It should be borne in mind that People vote for the presidential candidate. If Senator Clinton was such a strong candidate why was she defeated by a novice? She maybe an asset if she plays a supportive role in the Obama campaign but if she is on the ticket they will lose. Her behavior on Tuesday evening underscores my belief that her candidacy for vice president would be a windfall for the republicans. Many seasoned political observers agree that this is another example of democratic strategy driven by emotion rather than sound judgement. The Obama campaign got this far without and in spite of her so I would politely say thanks but no thanks to Senator Clinton's generous offer.
